When the Trojan prince Paris (Bloom) steals the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger) from her Greek husband King Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson), it sparks a war. Menelaus’s brother, the greedy King Agamemnon (Brian Cox), uses the betrayal as an excuse to unite all of Greece and conquer the mighty city of Troy.
The conflict begins when Prince Paris of Troy convinces Helen, the wife of King Menelaus of Sparta, to flee with him. This sparks a massive Greek invasion led by Agamemnon, utilizing the legendary warrior Achilles to breach Troy’s impenetrable walls.
