The story follows (played by Jason Flemyng), an English cartographer and inventor who flees his homeland to map the uncharted regions of Eastern Europe. His journey takes him through Transylvania and across the Carpathian Mountains, eventually leading him to a small, isolated village hidden in impenetrable woods and heavy fog.
