A masterclass in building tension, starting with a delicate piano melody before exploding into one of the most recognizable riffs of the 2000s.
"Origin of Symmetry" is Muse's second studio album, recorded at Sawmills Studio in Cornwall, England. The album was produced by David Bottrill, who had previously worked with Muse on their debut album "Showbiz". The band members, Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion), were heavily influenced by progressive rock, classical music, and electronica during the recording process.
