The narrative centers on Jaggi (Sunny Kaushal), a carefree track athlete who falls obsessively in love with Kartika (Radhika Madan), an equestrian preparing to leave India for London. When Kartika rejects him, Jaggi’s “shiddat” (intensity) drives him to illegally cross the English Channel without a passport to prove his love. Interspersed is the story of Ira (Diana Penty) and Gautam (Mohit Raina), an engaged couple whose love is based on logic and sacrifice. As Jaggi begs Gautam to help him cross the border, the film forces viewers to ask which man is the true lover.
