One of the most visible changes involves the "opening" animations for special Poké Balls. Previously, animations for the Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Premier Ball (among others) would not trigger if the Pokémon was the first one sent into battle. This update ensures these animations now appear correctly for every Pokémon entry.
